Five questions. Thirty seconds. Print and keep.

Are they creating urgency?

Scammers use time pressure to short-circuit clear thinking. Legitimate companies don't.

💳
Are they asking for payment in an unusual way?

Gift cards, wire transfers, crypto. These are scammer payment methods, not real companies.

🔇
Are they asking you not to tell anyone?

That's the clearest signal of all. Hang up.

📞
The one rule

Hang up and call back the official number. Every time. No matter how urgent it sounds.
