Phone scams targeting seniors aren't random. They're designed.

While he was battling cancer, my father fell for a timeshare phone scam. He didn't tell me. A proud man & relatively frugal man my father was, I think he was embarrassed. He shouldn't have been. These scams are built by professionals to defeat smart, careful, proud people. By the time I found out, the damage was done. I can't ask him about it now.

That's the thing about phone scams, phishing emails, fake tech support calls, and account takeovers: they don't work because seniors are naive. They work because the people who design them study exactly what makes anyone hesitate before hanging up. The sense of urgency, the fear, the appeal to family. That's the mechanism. Name it clearly, and most of the power goes away.

Cyber Safe Seniors is built on that idea. Every module names the threat plainly, explains how it actually works, and hands you something specific to do about it. No fear as a tactic. No jargon. No checklist of 20 things to memorize. One concept at a time, until you have a real plan.

Built for both of you.

👨‍👩‍👧

For the adult child

You've been carrying a quiet worry about your parents' online safety and don't know where to start, or how to bring it up without making them feel accused of something. This gives you a structured way to have that conversation and walk through real protection together over a weekend you're already spending with them.

👴👵

For the senior

You're smarter than the scammers want you to think. This doesn't ask you to become a tech person. It explains what's actually happening in plain language, gives you a few things to remember, and leaves you confident rather than afraid. You can go through it at your own pace, on any device.

FAQ

Is this for the senior, or for their adult child?

Both. Every module is written so a senior can go through it solo or alongside their adult child at the same time. The voice doesn't talk down to the senior or talk past the adult child. Most families find it most useful to do it together over a weekend.

How long does it take?

The video content totals roughly 90 minutes. With the worksheets and time to actually apply what you're learning, plan for 3–4 hours across a weekend, say a Saturday afternoon and a Sunday morning. There's no deadline. You set the pace.

What if my parent won't sit down and watch it with me?

Module 7 includes a lesson specifically about having this conversation with aging parents, including what to say when they're resistant. And honestly, sometimes the adult child goes through it first, learns the language, and finds the conversation much easier afterward.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. If you're not satisfied within 14 days of purchase, email anthony@mycyberzen.com for a full refund. No forms, no hoops.

What devices does it work on?

Any device with a browser: phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. The Teachable player is mobile-friendly. You can cast it to a TV via Chromecast or AirPlay if you prefer a bigger screen.

Do I need to know anything about technology to take this course?

No. The course assumes no technical background. Terms are explained when they come up, and the focus is always on what to do rather than how things work under the hood.

Can I buy it as a gift for my parents?

Yes. Purchase on Teachable and you can transfer or share access with a family member. Or go through it together. That's what Module 7 is built for.

Your family can have a plan by Sunday.

One weekend, seven modules, a real protection plan. That's what I would have given a lot to put together with my dad.
